"Kizami" Pickled Ginger is an excellent garnish for a wide range of Japanese dishes. Often referred to as "Beni Shoga" in Japanese, this eye-catching, vibrant, red ginger is cut into thin strands that are packed full of tangy notes and umami flavours. The ginger is an excellent addition to Okonomiyaki or Yakisoba dishes. Alternatively, add a little bit to a bowl of plain rice to give it a bit of zesty flavour.
