They own a range of quality Japanese brands including J-basket, Nishiki, and Wel-pac. J-basket's Seasoned Fried Bean Curd (Inarizushi-No-Moto) is tofu skin made by slicing and deep-frying tofu before simmering it in a mixture of mirin, soy sauce, and dashi. The golden tofu pouches are deliciously seasoned, chewy, and have a beautiful sweet and tangy flavour. They are popular in bento boxes in dishes like Inarizushi. Inarizushi is made by filling a pouch of seasoned fried tofu with sushi rice. It is named after the Shinto god Inari, who is said to have had a fondness for tofu. Alternatively, cut the tofu into strips and add them to a ramen dish to enjoy.
