Zhengfeng is a major Chinese producer of dried fruits, farm produce, processed foods, and spices. Zhengfeng, or Zheng Feng's, Dried Yam is a much loved ingredient in Chinese cuisine. Its Chinese name “Shan Yao” translates as “mountain medicine”. It is a potato-like, root vegetable which is not only commonly used in Chinese dishes, but also in traditional medicine.
